FRP Multimedia Vessel 3665

The FRP Multimedia Vessel 3665 is a high-capacity fiberglass reinforced plastic pressure vessel developed for commercial and industrial water filtration and media treatment systems. With a vessel volume of approximately 860 liters, it provides substantial capacity for filtration media while maintaining a practical vertical configuration for water treatment installations.

Measuring 909 mm in diameter × 1910 mm in height, the FRP 3665 is suitable for larger filtration applications where increased media volume and higher treatment capacity are required.

The vessel features dual 4-inch threaded openings at the top and bottom, allowing it to be integrated into appropriately designed filtration systems and media vessel configurations.

Product Overview

The FRP 3665 is designed to contain a variety of water treatment media used in filtration, adsorption and ion-exchange processes. Its large internal volume makes it suitable for applications requiring deeper media beds and greater treatment capacity than smaller FRP vessel models.

The vessel can be incorporated into standalone filtration equipment, multi-vessel systems, commercial water treatment plants, industrial filtration systems and packaged water treatment skids.

Its FRP composite construction provides corrosion resistance and makes the vessel suitable for environments where prolonged exposure to water and water-treatment conditions is expected.

Key Features

  • Large 860-Liter Capacity

The 860-liter vessel volume provides considerable space for filtration and treatment media, making the FRP 3665 suitable for larger commercial and industrial systems.

  • Durable FRP Construction

Manufactured using fiberglass reinforced plastic construction, the vessel combines structural strength with resistance to corrosion commonly encountered in water treatment environments.

  • Dual 4-Inch Threaded Connections

The vessel is equipped with 4-inch threaded openings at both the top and bottom, providing connection points for suitable internal distributors, piping arrangements and filtration system components.

  • Vertical Vessel Configuration

The vertical design allows efficient use of floor space while providing the internal depth required for media bed installation and filtration processes.

  • Multiple Water Treatment Applications

The FRP 3665 can be used with suitable filtration, adsorption and ion-exchange media depending on the specific treatment process and system design.

Compatible Media

The vessel can be used with appropriate water treatment media selected according to the required filtration or treatment process.

Typical media applications may include:

  • Filter sand
  • Anthracite
  • Gravel support media
  • Activated carbon
  • Ion exchange resin
  • Specialty filtration media
  • Other compatible granular treatment media

The correct media type, quantity and bed arrangement should be established based on the required flow rate, treatment objective and manufacturer's media specifications.

Advantages of FRP Media Vessels

Fiberglass reinforced plastic vessels are widely used in water treatment because they provide a combination of corrosion resistance, relatively low weight and practical installation characteristics.

Unlike conventional metal vessels, FRP construction does not rely on a painted external steel surface for basic corrosion resistance. This makes FRP vessels particularly suitable for humid water-treatment environments and installations where corrosion resistance is an important consideration.

The vertical vessel format also allows filtration equipment to be arranged efficiently within commercial and industrial plant rooms.

FRP 3665 for Commercial & Industrial Water Treatment

The FRP 3665 is intended for water treatment applications requiring a larger media vessel with approximately 860 liters of internal volume.

Its 909 mm diameter, 1910 mm height and dual 4-inch threaded top and bottom openings make it suitable for integration into larger filtration systems, depending on the required flow rate, media bed depth and system configuration.

It can be used as part of RO pretreatment, multimedia filtration, activated carbon systems, softening systems and other granular-media treatment processes.
